About

My name is Erika Heesen. I am an archivist/librarian, and am currently working as the Archivist for the Leeds and the Thousand Islands Archives near Kingston, Ontario.
I have been making jewellery on and off for the past six years, and am entirely self-taught. While I have sold at craft shows and in stores in the past, I'm getting back to jewellery-making as a hobby, so I can concentrate on the creative process: making fun, unique pieces for the sake of creating them. This blog is mostly about my jewellery projects, but I will write about other art projects and things that interest me from time to time!

Inspirations:
Art Nouveau, Art Deco, old costume jewellery, photos, nature
